Tatcha Skin Care Review
Hi Loves!
So many of you know I am a big fan of Japanese beauty, I have been there twice and have some good friends there. Love everything about Japanese beauty!!
Today I am so excited to write this review about Tatcha skincare that is made in Japan. A little information about it: this brand is a luxury skincare inspired by Japan Geisha beauty. Victoria Tsai is Tatcha’s founder; she often works with scientists, researchers and modern-day geisha to create Tatcha products. All of Tatcha’s products do not contain any harsh chemicals, which I think it’s really important. Their signature ingredients are HADASEI-3 Bioactive Complex. Green Tea, Japanese Rice Bran and Okinawa Red Algae. What I love about Tatcha is how gentle the ingredients they are using in their skincare yet how effective they are.
I have been using The Pure One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil, The Polished Rice Enzyme Powder and Supple Moisture Rich Silk Cream for couple days; I am impressed by how my skin feels. My skin type is combination-dry and sensitive. I care a lot about ingredients in my skincare; I do not normally put any skincare until I know it’s safe on my face. The Pure One-Step Camellia Oil is a gentle, two-in-one makeup remover and cleanser. It’s also non-sensitizing, non-irritating, dermatologist-tested, and cruelty-free. So it can be used as the first step of your skincare or use it to remove makeup. The Polished Rice Enzyme Powder is a gentle exfoliator or cleanser; you can choose the right Rice Powder according to your skin type. The one I got is Gentle Rice Enzyme Powder for dry skin. Supple Moisture Rich Silk Cream is a rich, but lightweight anti-aging silky gel-cream moisturizer. And it used as a natural makeup primer.
My first step is using the Camellia Cleansing Oil to remove my makeup (or my sunscreen). I just put two pump on my dry palm and massage it on my face (without water). Then after couple minutes I add warm water on my face to wash off the cleanser. Once the oil mixed with water, it became milky water. When I use it to remove my makeup, I can see all my makeup is washing away (especially on these days with strong contour lol). It reminds my Shu Uemura Cleanser Oil that I have been using for a long time. The difference is the Camellia Cleansing Oil is really gentle and gives me the same result. I think it’s because it does not remove my natural oil of my skin even when I tried to remove any waterproof makeup.
Then I use the Polished Rice Enzyme Powder. This is an amazing exfoliator that is gentle enough for everyday use, but I only use it twice a week. This special powder is water-actived. Every time after I use it, it softens my skin instantly, like baby skin:) So in love with it!!
My last step is the Supple Moisture Rich Silk Cream (I love using this as my night cream). I can’t find any word other than the best to describe this cream. I had couple pimples on my forehead couple days ago. After I used this cream, they disappeared!!! It’s like magic, the next morning after I used this cream, my pimples were less visible and my redness on my cheeks became less visible as well! It’s like this cream calm my skin and gives me the right amount moisture I need. The reason why I said this is because I was using Fresh black tea age delay cream as my night cream, it’s really heavy and I always feel my skin is oily. Then I switched to CHANEL HYDRA BEAUTY CRÈME, it did moisture my skin but it wasn’t enough for my skin to survive in the harsh winter in Chicago (sobbing …lol). Now I found my perfect must-have cream from Tatcha.
I really satisfied of Tatcha products so far, I need to get their new eye cream and night serum next time! I will write an update post soon as well ! What do you think about them? Let me know :)
