Huda Beauty 3D Highlighter Palette Bronze Sands Edition
Finally feeling the Summer air! Hooray!!! One more reason I need more some new makeup to makes me feel the glow lol ! Today I will review the newest addition to the Huda Beauty 3D highlighter palettes family-Bronze Sands.
From the creater:
“We had such an amazing response when we launched our Pink Sands and Golden Sands 3D Highlighter palettes last year. Since then, we have had requests for another edition with deeper shades that would give the most insane highlight on tanned and richer skin tones so I knew I had to create this highlighter. I LOVE the shades in this palette – they are so rich with amazing colour payoff, and the tones are perfect for drawing attention to the beautiful contours of the face and body!” Huda Kattan
This palette is designed for those who have tan to deeper complexion types. Barbados is a beautiful gold and it’s in Huda beauty’ signature melted strobe formula. The rest shades are powders: Maldives is a light gold copper, Aruba is a deep bronze with a gold reflection and Bora Bora is a bronze with a bit rose gold. Aruba is the deepest shade among all.
I followed the instruction on the palette as usual, I started with Barbados as my base, and then topped it with Maldives with a little bit Bora Bora. I also applied three shades on my eyes, Bora Bora really looking gorgeous as a copper eyeshadow and a blush. All shades are extremely creamy, buttery and easy to blend. I haven’t seen any fallout whatsoever. My "glow" last a good 8 hours then it started to fade a little, I think if I had used ALL NIGHTER from Urban Deday, it would last even longer.
Before getting this palette I was a little concerned that this palette won’t work out on my skin, because I have a light/light-medium skin tone. However I still decided to give it try since I loved the other Huda Beauty 3d highlighter palettes so much.
I have to admit, Huda Beauty's recent palette packagings are just getting better and better. I absolutely adore the cover with Huda’ sun-kissed face. By looking at that, I feel I want a glowy face like her! That being said, hope there will be a tutorial of how she did this makeup on the cover.
Overall, this is a great highlighter palette not only for tan to deep skin tones, but also for light to medium skin tones. It's all about how you use the shades. For a natural dewy skin look, I suggest to use Barbados alone and just using your fingertips dab a little of it on where you wish to have the glow. Plus use them as eyeshadows are really beautiful this just give it an extra point!
Did you get this palette loves? BTW, did you see the Rose Gold Remastered Palette? Any thoughts?!
