Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Makeup Stick Review
When it comes contour, I always prefer using a darker shade foundation than actual face contour products. For me it just blends way much better.
My all-time favorite one is Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation Stick in Almond, it honestly lasts me more than 2 years. However, just recently an opened makeup pass its expiration date could damage skin got my attention, so I hope I can find something to replace this one also just want to try something new. Before I got the chance to try this Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Makeup Stick, I was going to get Hourglass Vanish Seamless Finish Foundation Stick after watched Amanda Ensing’s video, she highly recommended it and also because she and I have very similar skin type which is combination to dry.
I have to say this makeup stick performs better than I expected. I didn't feel good about its packaging; it doesn't feel as luxe as the Bobbi Brown one. But as the product itself, I love it!!! It’s so creamy and glides on face quite nice! For picture purposes, I didn’t blend the product right the way, later on I found out because this foundation stick is super long-lasting, so it becomes a bit difficult to blend afterwards.
I always try to avoid any yellowish, orange or even greyish color as my contour shade; they make my makeup looks muddy and it literally can ruin the whole makeup look. I am glad this shade 420 is with natural undertone so it's perfect for me.
Overall, this is an amazing foundation stick that is perfect for contouring. Even though I might not be able to leave my expired Bobbi Brown foundation stick, I still have a feeling I will use this Lancôme makeup stick very often.
Thank you for reading! And thank you Lancôme for the gift! As always all options my own and the honest!
Happy Fall and Saturday loves!
