These MAC Blushes Make Me Feel Like A Pro!
Many people underestimate the importance of blushes; I was one a while ago until a full makeover in Maccosmetics store, it changed my makeup routine ever since. Now I can’t leave the house without applying blushes! A right blush not only can give you a youthful appearance but also helps define your face shape depends on where you apply. Normally, a rosy blush with a bit of coral is all I need. However, after the knowledge I gained along with swatches of different blush colors, now I have this 6-color MAC blush custom palette.
Style: Coral with gold pearls
Springsheen: Golden tawny peach with shimmer
Dame: Pale lilac similar to Mocha
Peachkeen: Baby peach with shimmers
Rose outlook: Matte rosy pink similar to Fleur powder
Margin: Peach gold shimmers
Style and Springsheen are my favorites. Springsheen is such a gorgoues rose gold color, it reminds me MAC extra dimension skinfinish in Beanming Blush. Style is a stunning coral peachy color that is perfect for all seasons and almost all skin tones as well. And if you are a highlighter junkie like me, then you will like Margin!
Having this kit and be able to mix colors to have the perfect shade is the most satisfying thing for me. However I found the two-shades refill kit is even better, easy to carry around and I never use more than 2 shades as my blush anyway. Usually I use a cream blush first then add a little bit powder blush in different tone. The only thing I wish MAC can improve is the kit's plastic cover, it's very easy to get scratchs.
The important thing is, MAC custom kits are pretty handy and have different varieties plus shades to choose from, I actually just purchased a cream refill in Vintage. Can’t wait to start to paly with it!
