The Best-selling Cushion Compact Review And Swatches!
Cushion compacts are very popular in Asia, especially in China, Japan and Korea. From what I know, it’s originally from Korea. I think the reason why they’re popular in those countries is because most of people who wear makeup there seek the most natural dewy finish aka a No-makeup kinda makeup look. I totally understand that because I was one of them and this is also the reason why I never tried any cushion foundation; I just feel the coverage is only for people who have perfect skin already. That being said this is my first time trying a cushion compact and it’s the best seller at Sephora also it's from one of the best Korea Brands-Amorepacific Color Control Cushion Compact Broad Spectrum SPF 50+ Sunscreen.

There are 5 colors in total 102 is the lightest and my shade is 104 light/medium pink which is light beige for neutral to cool skintones. The Cushion compact comes with a mirror, a puff and a refill. The product contains Bamboo Sap that hydrates the skin and makes it smooth. And there’s Green Tea leaves to brighten up the complex and provides antioxidant protection. Moreover, the cushion has broad spectrum SPF 50+.
Gently pat on my skin:
What I like about this Cushion Compact is it hydrates my skin, the weather is crazy and it makes my skin even dryer but the compact made my skin feels better and dewy. Surprisingly, it’s long lasting as well, for a good 6-hour and noted I didn’t use any setting spray or any primer. I have zero complains about how the product is but the floral scent really got me feel it's bit of strong, this is just to me because my friend said she actually loved the smell. However, the second time when I used the cushion the smell wasn't as strong as the first time. Moreover, I think maybe I am too into full coverage foundations so even the coverage is decent I still would use concealers for my acne scares and dark circle. But what I'm certain is I will use it as a great touch-up makeup throughout the day or when I want a perfect dewy makeup look, not to even mention it’s with SPF 50+ I definitely need that!
Overall, I am glad I tried this Cushion Compact and I really think it’s a great product and the perfect buildable foundation for any skintype!
